Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game — Voyage of the Unity

Logistics Bending
6 months ago – Fri, Apr 17, 2026 at 09:49:02 AM

Friends,

Just wanted to let you know that we'll be charging for Backerkit add-ons NEXT FRIDAY, APRIL 24th. We will only be charging for add-ons and pre-orders that were added in BackerKit after the Kickstarter campaign ended. We're holding off on charging for shipping until we have a little more clarity on how we'll packaging and shipping the scrolls. But that's why we started Beadle & Grimm's all those years ago, to learn logistics!

Errr, no. That's not it.

How's this, we wanted to work with artists to create worlds for you to explore and lose yourself in, if only for an afternoon or two. In this case, the world is the largest ship of the Roku era, the Unity :-). Here's some of the shops on board, including the Dragon's Tongue, Mora's Tea and Sweets, and the Hungry Worm.

Thanks again for your support,

Sincerely,
Bill, Charlie, Jon, Matthew, and Paul

Mysterious Dragons

Friends,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on our progress.

We're in the final editing and approval stages for the adventures. Thanks again for all the feedback. It's been a big help in fine-tuning, or in some cases, coarse-tuning the stories to make them great.

Meanwhile, the art keeps coming! Alex Monik's cover for the second book, Wings of Destiny, has been approved and we wanted to share it with you in all its mysterious glory.

And the Unity map is ready for your adventures.

We'll keep posting more art and updates as we get closer to production.

Sincerely,
Bill, Charlie, Jon, Matthew, and Paul

P.S.  Mysteries and Murder

Finally, we wanted to let you know that we're doing another set of escape room/murder mystery games for Star Trek. Last year we launched the first two entries in our Star Trek game series: Picard: Murder on the Titan-A and Strange New Worlds: Mary Celeste. Now we're adding additional titles based on two more of the most popular Star Trek series: Deep Space Nine: Holosuite Homicide and Lower Decks: Chaos Protocol.

Our Kickstarter for these two new titles launches April 14th and we'd love for you to be a part of it. CLICK HERE to go to the pre-launch page and sign up!

Friends,

Happy to let you know that we're continuing to move forward on art production. We're currently just a few weeks away from being able to share a number of final pieces with you, including scrolls and in-world handouts!

For now though, the big update is that Book 1: Welcome Aboard is ready for play testing. We'll be sending out an email and download link for those of you who are on our playtest list this Wednesday.

Thanks again for your support!

Happy New Year

Friends,

Just wanted to share a quick update to start the year. We continue to make good progress with both art and text, and will have more artwork to share with you soon.

But most importantly, we got almost a 100 of you to help play test four of the adventures! And still have one adventure to send to you this month!

Thanks again for all your comments. If you signed up and haven't played yet (or posted your feedback), it's not too late!

Thanks again,

Beadle & Grimm's

Playtesting and Pledge Manager Update
11 months ago – Fri, Nov 21, 2025 at 02:50:37 PM

Friends,

We want to give everyone a quick update. The big news is that playtesting has begun for the adventures in Voyage of the Unity. We got a ton of volunteers, and we're really excited to get their help making these the best adventures they can be!

We're continuing to get artwork through reviews, and here's another piece we can share with you now. Meet Huk, leader of the Water Tribe's delegation on the Unity.

Backerkit Pledge Manager Update

Thank you to the 91% of you who have already completed your Backerkit Survey and adding in your shipping information and confirmed your pledge! For the remaining 9% of you, please reach out if you have any questions or need any help getting into your Backerkit account.

We'll be locking orders at the end of this month so we can start to finalize production numbers in preparation for getting the factory started. Once that's complete, the next step will be to lock addresses when we're closer to actually shipping. We'll post an update and send out emails when we're ready for that, and you'll have a chance to confirm your shipping address and make any changes at that time.

Thanks for your support and we can't wait share more with you in the coming months!
